How to Save, Publish and Schedule your Pages and Posts

How to log in to your PLATO School Website CMS.

Step 1.

On any page of your website scroll down to the footer of the page and click “ADMIN LOGIN”

Step 2.

When the login screen appears enter your username (can be your email address) and password. If you do not have these yet you can request them from your project manager at Blue Apple Education – support@blueappleuk.com.

How to easily Save, Publish and Schedule your Pages and Posts

Step 1.

In Pages, Vacancies, Newsletters or Posts the Quick Edit button gives access to a series of options.

Step 2.

The Quick Edit prompt allows you to quickly:

  • change thePage/Post status (Published, Scheduled, Pending Review, Draft)
  • Change the publish date, which influences the order that Posts, Vacancies and newsletters are shown on the feed. A future date will change the status to Scheduled.

Step 3.

The sidebar inside Pages, Posts, Newsletters and Vacancies has these options:

  • change thePage/Post status (Published, Pending Review, Draft)
  • Change the publish date, which influences the order that Posts, Vacancies and newsletters are shown on the feed. A future date will change the status to Scheduled.
  • Change the page from private (logged in users only), password protected, or public

Draft pages will show the additional option to save draft without publishing
